Earthrise Retreat Center, Petaluma, CA
7 CEUs available for MFT, LPC, LCSW,PhD and RN

with Geneen Marie Haugen, PhD
and Bill Plotkin, PhD

The wild human psyche holds treasures and troubles, portals and obstacles, gifts and shadows that we might not know exist until we discover how to access them, cultivate their powers and potentials, and eventually integrate them into our everyday lives. We’ll experientially explore the four dimensions of our innate human wholeness and identify the four kinds of self-protective subpersonalities that supported us in childhood but are now barriers to our full and authentic humanity. Cultivating our multifaceted wild minds and uncovering the gifts of our subpersonalities also constitute the best preparation for the descent to soul — the initiatory journey that reveals the larger, mythic story we’re called to live and enables us to serve the greater Earth community as visionary artisans of cultural evolution. We’ll explore the landscapes of the wild mind through a variety of soulcraft practices such as creative expression, solo exercises while wandering on the land, voice dialogue, journaling, and deep imagination. This experiential offering supports personal development but also introduces new tools for ecotherapists, psychotherapists, graduate students, and others.

This workshop is designed and intended for people who self-identify as professional human development guides in one form or another — i.e., people who work in fields such as psychotherapy, psychiatry, clinical psychology, professional counseling, ministry, life coaching, ecotherapy, rites of passage, education, mentoring, and wilderness therapy; or students or trainees in a human development graduate school or training program.

Group size will be limited. Priority admission and discount to this workshop is given to conference participants registering concurrently with the conference. Singular registration in this workshop will be made available as a separate sign-up on Feb 15, 2018 as space is available.  Conference participants may register for the workshop when registering for the conference starting now.
